If you are looking for a nostalgic place to have lunch in Wilmington stop by to see the Merritt family on Carolina Beach Road. This little drive-in has been in operation for over 50 years. One interesting side note for the Rich Tours Family and Merritt's Burger House - this was the location on O'Neal and Kitty's first date back in the late 50's. One item that is not on the menu, the fried and toasted hot dog - Mrs. Kitty's favorite.
